T715 Promo Video

Here is the Promo video of the new T715, looks like it could be yet another sexy beast. It also promises a large keypad and font size, so it could be a goodie for the sausage-fingered among us who want an attractive handset.

When you see the Sony Ericsson T715 for the first time, you would say that the device is made for starting mobile callers. However, a large series of possibilities is hidden underneath the outsides of this compact slider, possibilities that the consuments of the middle section are waiting for. We start with the display, which is a standard 262.000 colours display with a QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels).

The back panel is made out of shiny plastic and we now also find out one of the specs of the Sony Ericsson T715 besides calling and SMSing: a 3.2 megapixel camera. Just underneath the lens a small LED flash is placed to illuminate a little in darker circumstances.

The new Sony Ericsson T715 will help you stand out from the crowd with two pretty nice colours: Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink. Galaxy Silver has a piano finish, while Rouge Pink colour has a mirror finish. T715 is really so compact! It has sizes 91.5 x 48 x 14.9 mm and weight only 96.5 grams. The new T715 will be available in the shops in Q3 2009.

Explore the feature-packed Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman phone.

Sony Ericsson
At last the three phones, Aino and Yari will be out in September and Satio will be on October, but there is no exact date when will it be released, so for now we'll just have to wait for this three phones.

Yari is being marketed as a gaming phone. It has a 2.4″ 240×320 pixels 262,144 color TFT screen and special dedicated gaming keys with stereo speakers.

Sony Ericsson Aino has full PlayStation3 compatibility. The new Aino has a real Sony Style look and it is looking like a real PlayStation Portable device. With a 3.0″ 240×432 pixels TFT screen, this phone deserves to be a touchscreen phone.. and yes.. it is. The 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and photo flash surely compliments the screen size.

and the last one is Satio. The full 640 x 350 3.5-inch touchscreen device features a whopping 12.1 megapixel camera, dual-band HSPA, microSD expansion (yes, microSD, not Memory Stick Micro), and a xenon flash. It'll be available in three colors -- black, silver, and bordeaux - this October.

W995 Demo Video

If you not watch yet the previous Sony Ericsson W995, Below is new 3.21 minutes promotion video for Sony Ericsson W995. Well, honestly I think this video little bit different compare to other promotion videos by SE. Anyway, just enjoy it!

X2 spotted again, but now in Silver.

Remember the rumored XPERIA X2 sighting and specs? Well, Sony Ericsson's X2 is back again, this time being spotted in glorious silver.

A closer inspection of the keyboard shows that the X2 eschews the X1's separate keys (like those on Sony VAIO and MacBook laptops) for a more conventional, PC-esque keyboard feel.

You'll also notice Windows Mobile 6.5 on it. There are couple more shots after the break in which we learn WM6.5 build number (21419.5.0.20) and that the phone's powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7200 processor and there are at least 198MB of RAM available.

Sony Walkman W202

Sony launched a new walkman namely Walkman NWD-W202 this Summer 2009. It looks like few Mp3 gadgets that play music. It is just like a normal earphone with an inbuilt music player.

It is integrated with unique search function called Zappin. It has an internal memory of 2 GB to store the music files. The Walkman supports MP3/AAC/WMA/ATRAC/WAV files to play.

It also has a cradle that serves as a USB charging station. This player will be more useful for the joggers because they don’t have to carry a player in the hand while jogging. This player is available in four colours white, pink, lime and black.

It weighs just 35 grams which is as light as a headphone. You can charge the NWD-W202 with a USB connection which takes one and a half hour to charge completely. One time charging of 1.5 hours gives a playback time of 12 hours continuously.

On the left side you can find fastport, on the right side available three dedicated music control keys plus volume keys and one camera key.

W995 has three different colours: Progressive Black (black phone with blue includings), Cosmic Silver (silver phone with orange includings) and Energetic Red (red phone with blue includings).
On the back of W995 you can find special kickstand, which helps you to relax and watch your favorite videos, converted with a special application Media Go™.

Environmental warranty

The launch of Sony Ericsson’s environmental warranty means that now, when any Sony Ericsson product is taken to a designated collection point, Sony Ericsson will recycle this product in an environmentally sound way. This warranty is valid globally, regardless of where the product was originally purchased, as Sony Ericsson strives to show its support for ‘individual producer responsibility’ (IPR).

Sony Ericsson has long-since participated in and supported the development of common industry systems that relate to the collection and recycling of old mobile phones and accessories. Launching its own collection points and system means that Sony Ericsson will be able to further strengthen its commitment to taking responsibility for the products it sold to consumers.

This new initiative has now been initiated in India, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Singapore USA and Mexico. To date, more than 500 collection points are already in operation. Sony Ericsson intends to complete this rollout by 2009 in all the countries in which it operates. The company’s solely-owned collection points will be primarily made available in those countries where the current industry-standard system of phone recycling have been judged to be too limited.

Sony Ericsson also plans to develop the way in which it spreads information about this new initiative through its customer help desks and over the internet. The aim is to give consumers easy access to information on their nearest recycling drop off point.

GreenHeart™ phones

As a company that puts environmental sustainability at the heart of its product development, Sony Ericsson wanted to explore new ideas in this area through a concept design study.

The GreenHeart™ is a full concept with all life cycle in mind it includes features such as bio-plastic housings, recycled plastic keypads, zero charger with 3.5mW standby power, HTML based e-manuals, a game style educational application ‘Ecomate’ and environmentally conscious packaging.

This concept has been shared with a few selected partners in the industry, whose response has been extremely positive. Sony Ericsson will therefore take this concept and initiate a two-way conversation with customers on what features they believe should be implemented in future phones and in what priority.

Environmentally, all of Sony Ericsson products live up to the extremely high standards that are expected by the industry. Pursuing policies such as the global phase out of unwanted substances, and being a leader in charger performance, is included in all our current product offerings. This is also recognised by external organisations worldwide, with Greenpeace, for example, naming Sony Ericsson as the ‘greenest electronics company’ for 2008. With the GreenHeart™ concept however, Sony Ericsson is looking to the future, to ensure the full life cycle of a mobile phone can be made more environmentally friendly. Once the technology reaches maturity, new techniques and materials will then be included in the portfolio and a market wide launch. One ‘eco’ product by itself will not make a difference but by learning through this concept study we are ensuring the entire portfolio in future will be more sustainable.

Sustainability

Sony Ericsson takes its role in creating a sustainable future very seriously. The company continually works to improve people’s lives by following best business practices, conserving resources and protecting the environment.
